The home of Southland Rowing is the Oreti River, 10 minutes west of Invercargill towards Oreti Beach.
It is the main training base for around 200 rowers, including Awarua, Invercargill and Waihopai Rowing Clubs.
Riverton Harbour and Lake Hayes are the other training bases, for Riverton and Whakatipu Rowing Clubs, which are also within the Association's geographical area.
