Central Districts Cricket Association 0.5 FTE
PURPOSE
This shared position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering marketing and communications activities for Sport Hawke's Bay and Central Districts Cricket Association.
The role will enhance the visibility, engagement, and impact of both organisations through effective marketing campaigns, digital communications, brand management, content creation, and stakeholder engagement.
The position supports the strategic objectives of both organisations by promoting participation, health and wellbeing outcomes, cricket pathways, major events, programmes, competitions, and community initiatives. The role requires someone with effective time management who can work across multiple projects, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.This role’s responsibilities cover Sport Hawke's Bay’s Marketing and Communications Advisor position, and CD Cricket’s Marketing Operations Coordinator position working alongside CD Cricket’s Communications and Brand staff.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Essential
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organisational and project management skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, or a related field.
· Experience creating content across digital and traditional channels.
· Experience managing social media platforms and audience engagement.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organisations.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign.
· Understanding of marketing principles, branding, and communications planning.
· Passion for sport, recreation, community wellbeing, and participation.
Desirable
· CRM or database management experience.
· Website content management experience.
· Photography, videography, or video editing skills.
· Experience working within sport, recreation, events, or community organisations.
· Knowledge of the New Zealand sport sector.
SPORT HAWKE'S BAY - BOARD MEMBERS (up to 2)
Sport Hawke's Bay is seeking up to two Trustees who are passionate about the overall hauora of the Hawke's Bay community.
Our aim is to have a diverse Board with a wide range of backgrounds and expertise, to govern the organisation effectively and who collectively have strong connections to our community.
The organisation has monthly Board meetings and Board Members may also need to attend meetings of sub-committees.
We are part of a national network of 14 Regional Sports Trusts and we work to make our community and particularly our young people - more active, more often through play, active recreation and sport.
We work closely with a wide range of partners including Sport New Zealand, Health New Zealand, local Councils, Iwi, regional sports organisations, Schools and kura and other funders.

Time commitment – Cyclical meetings, and sub-committees as needed
Remuneration - Paid Fee payable per Board meeting

SPORT HAWKE’S BAY – GROUP EXERCISE INSTRUCTOR
Sport Hawke’s Bay exists to enhance the oranga of Hawke’s Bay by making evidenced based decisions to influence, enable and support our communities to have a lifelong love of physical activity.
An instructing position is available within our Recreation team. Our Recreation instructors provide high-quality, low-impact group exercise programmes. One of our specialized areas includes programmes for older adults and kaumātua to improve strength, balance and flexibility, along with Tai Chi at a variety of venues in Napier and Hastings. An instructor is required to extend the range and scope of programmes on offer.
