The Franklin Softball Association was established in September 2021 as a result of a surge in population to the local area highlighting a need for an additional association in South Auckland to provide softball support to the community.
Franklin is part of the greater Auckland region with boundaries stretching from Ramarama in the north, to Pokeno in the south, Waiuku in the west and Mangatangi in the east.
The Association offers both a local men's and women’s competition based out of the Colin Lawrie Fields in Pukekohe, as well as a tee-ball and softball leagues for children ages 5-12.
The 2026-2027 Season will host U11 & U13 mixed grades competition out of Colin Lawrie Fields in Pukekohe and Rugby Park in Waiuku and Tuakau Recreation Reserve in Pokeno with a total of x8 U11 teams and x8 U13 teams.
Junior competitive players (15-19 years old, boys & girls) compete in the Auckland Softball Association competitions.
The Franklin Softball Association aims to continue to grow as an Association and provide opportunities for our young elite athletes to compete at the highest level possible.
