There are 4 grades within the junior competion. We will grade children, based on their ability at the begining of each season. 

Section 1

  • 9 a-side
  • 30 overs per side
  • 45 metre boundries
  • Hard Cricket ball


Section 2

  • 8 a-side
  • 20 overs per side
  • 40 metre boundries
  • Hard cricket ball


Section 3

  • 8 a-side
  • modified rules
  • 35 metre boundaries
  • 16 overs per team
  • Use soft Incrediball


Section 4 

  • 6 a-side 
  • Modified rules to introduce children to cricket
  • 30 metre boundaries
  • 12 overs per side
  • Games last approx 90 mins
  • Use soft incrediball


SuperSmash Girls only grade

  • Modified rules
  • Use doft incrediball


Primary Y 7 & 8 Girls and Under 15 Youth Girls

  • Playing in CHCH metro competition 
  • 9 aside
  • Hard Ball
