The South Canterbury region boasts a proud history 
in softball with many players achieving representative status. ​​​​​​​

After a small period of no softball being played in South Canterbury the SCSA is the driving force behind the resurgence of softball in the region.

With a strong base in the youth tee ball and softballs grades the SCSA is transitioning these players into the Secondary and adult leagues. With former New Zealand Black Sox players amidst the coaching ranks coupled with very experienced local coaches we are starting to see some fantastic results.
