Rowing - September 2024 - March 2025. 

Summary:

The Rowing Programme at Iona is run in conjunction with the Hawkes Bay Rowing Club, where girls are involved in the Club program and then into the Schools event at the conclusion of the Club's season. 

Girls experience fun, enjoyment, and friendship throughout the season. Most importantly, as part of the Iona College rowing crew, the girls will learn the values of integrity, responsibility, time management, and passion.

The Rowing season generally begins in September. Sunday morning introductory “Learn To Row” sessions are held at the Hawke’s Bay Rowing Club next to the Clive Motor Camp on Farndon Road. This is offered to all schools and is followed by a weekend camp at Mangakino, various regattas, and concludes with the Maadi Cup towards the end of March.
