SUBURBS HISTORY 1954 1956
1955 was an historic year from the point of view that it was a year when rugby had grown so much at Suburbs that the club started to produce a newsletter called the 'Informer' to inform all members of what was unfolding at the club.
The initial 3 or 4 'Informers' were released as just that, 'newsletters'. By the time the 5th Informer was released it had reverted to the 'Suburbs Informer' - The Official Journal of the Suburbs Rugby Football Club (Inc.).
The Informer was produced steadily in this format for about a decade, and was continued in varied regularity and format ever since.
