A BRIEF HISTORY
The Taupo Dressage Group was officially formed on 3 June 1994, becoming a branch of the Bay of Plenty Area Dressage. Our first president was Lynley Price who is still actively involved in the club today. Our current president Belle Clarke, also sat on that very first committee
WHAT WE DO
The Taupo Dressage Group is a club based in Taupo which seeks to develop dressage and riding skills amongst its members.
The club runs regular rallies that include lessons from a range of dressage instructors and also holds registered and unregistered dressage competitions.
FACILITIES
We are lucky to have the Fibre Fresh National Equestrian Centre in our district. It is a premier 90-acre equestrian venue featuring an international standard indoor arena, extensive outdoor sand and grass arenas, and a comprehensive cross-country course.
We also hold our rallies and clinics at a variety of beautiful privately-owned facilities, enabling members and their horses to experience a range of environments in a supportive rally/clinic atmosphere.
