Welcome to Te Puke Netball Centre and thanks for visiting our website.  Here is some information which may help you enjoy your experience with us.


NETBALL DRAW:

You can access the netball draw on our facebook page Te Puke Netball Centre and it will be emailed to your coaches and managers. 

There will be no netball during the school holidays.


CANCELLATIONS:

A cancellation will be made by Thursday 1pm be on this website.

We recommend that teams set up their own text system to inform players.

If games are cancelled they will be played the following week.


UMPIRES:

Every team must provide an umpire who will umpire their own team’s game for the duration of the game. Games will be dual controlled and the umpire must print their name on the scorecard at the conclusion of the game. It is the responsibility of every team to ensure that their umpiring duty is carried out. 

Please advise your players to wait until the netball season has ended before they get their ears pierced.

Medic Alert Bracelet need to be taped.  No other jewellery should be worn.

Hair attire will be up to the umpire’s discretion.


UNIFORM:  All teams will be in uniforms this season.  Long sleeve thermals are permitted under uniforms.


SCORE CARDS:

The scorecards are to be collected from the upstairs  table by the coach / manager. It is the responsibility of the umpire to ensure the scorecard is returned to the office immediately at the end of the game..

To eliminate any discrepancies a delegate from each team shall score the game together. The scorecard is the official score - No dispute shall be entered into.


SUBSTITUTION:

1) A player may play up a section/grade for their club / school team only but they must be from a lower section/grade.

2) A player may play up a section/grade for a team once. On the second occasion that player will automatically be registered to that team for the remainder of the season.


PLAYERS TRANSFER:

A player, who wishes to transfer from their original school to another school during the season, must have a release in writing signed by the principal and/or sports co-ordinator. This must be forwarded to the President and will be approved by the committee before the transfer can take place.


DISPUTES:

In the event of a dispute arising from a game a protest/complaint must be lodged in writing to the Committee immediately at the conclusion of the game. The Committee shall consider the protest, and its decision is final.


NETBALL BIBS:  Bibs for all year levels and equipment is provided by Te Puke Netball.


FIRST AID:  Due to the cost we do not have paramedics on site. We recommend all teams provide their own medical kit and have it courtside each week. Ice is available from the upstairs office for injuries.


SMOKING:  The pavilion and surrounding court areas are designated Smoke Free.


DOGS:  No dogs at the courts please
