Thames Football Club History​​​​​​​

Thames Junior A.F.C was formed in 1976 as part of Thames A.F.C. The club playing fields were located at Thames Racecourse, Parawai Road Thames.

In the 2000s Thames Football Club moved the playing fields from Thames Racecourse to Rhodes Park, Ngati Maru Highway Thames.

In 2021 the word Junior was dropped from the club. This was to align with the Senior Teams we have playing in both the Womens and Mens divisions in the WaiBop League.  The Womens team during their first season won the Division Two title.

As well as the winter season of Football the Club now runs Junior and Senior Futsal during Terms 1 and 4.
