Socks are now available for purchase $15 per pair

Subs are expected before the 1st game of the season. 

Payment is required at registration either in full or in instalments.

Games are held at the NBS Hockey turf, Ashburton Domain.

All junior grades start on Sunday 19 April 2026 with a Festival Day!

Tinwald Hockey Club offer the following opportunities to play hockey.

Fun Sticks

Fun activities & skills for Years 1 & 2 concluding with a wee game. Held on Saturday mornings at 11am (term 2 only).

Shirts supplied for the season to be worn with black shorts. Socks available for puchase with registration.

All junior players new to hockey will be supplied with a starter pack containing a hockey stick, shinpads, mouthguard and hockey ball.

Cost: $25

Mini Sticks

A 6 aside competition for Year 3 & 4 held Saturday mornings at 10am

Cost: $75

Start date: Sunday 19 April (Festival Day)

Kiwi Sticks

A fun 7 aside competition for Year 5 & 6 held on Fridays from 3.45pm onwards.

Cost: $100

Start date: Sunday 19 April (Festival Day)

Kwik Sticks

A 7 aside competition for Year 7 & 8 held on Wednesdays from 3.45pm onwards.

Cost: $120

Div 1 Men

11 aside competition for Yrs 9+ students & adults played at the NBS Turf, Ashburton Domain on Tuesday evenings.  (Note students Year 11 and above are eligible to play both Div 1 and 2 if they wish.)
