Our Journey

Te Kotahitanga FC (TKFC) started its journey in 2021 when members of local Kapiti Coast clubs got together to form a multi club U12 team as no club had the numbers to form the team alone. this lead to dicussions about whether this could be extended to include other teams, and the focus shifted to what together the clubs top teams could achieve. at the end of the 2021 season draft plans about creating a new club known at the time as Horowhenua Coastal Football Club (HCFC) were presented by each of the 5 local clubs to their members, and all of the clubs agreed to the plan and HCFC was formed for the 2022 season.


2022

As a new club arised in the currentl local clubs supported HCFC to get on the Field, KCU and Waikanae offered kits and equipment to the teams.  


TKFC emerges

By the end of the 2023 season the truely unique identity of TKFC started to form and on the 15th of December 2023 Horowhenua Coastal Football Club renamed to Te Kotahitanga FC, and cemented this name change with the release of our Kit colours and Club Badge
