COLGATE NORTH ISLAND ATHLETIC GAMES 2019 - PORRITT STADIUM

4TH - 6TH JANUARY 2019

This is Children’s Athletics elite athletic event of the season. Children's athletics does not have a New Zealand Championships, therefore provides both a North and South Island event.

This is an amazing athletic event with approximately 1,500 children taking part.  The event caters for ages 7-14 years. Sponsored by Colgate. You can go to one or both events. 

Format

Thursday Afternoon:                      Team Managers Meeting and Club Athlete Pack Allocation

Friday:                                               Early Opening Ceremony

                                                            Competition Day One

Saturday:                                           Competition Day Two

Sunday:                                              Competition Day Three

7 - 9 year old:                    Each race operates as its own final and pennants are given out to the first 3 place getters.

10 - 14 year old:                Heats, semi-finals and finals. Medals are given to top 3 place-getters.

Relays:                                Depending on numbers, each athlete will make themselves available for club relays (4 x 100m and Medley Relays)
