Race Day Registration

The race registration tent will be set up at the south end of Caroline Bay on the grassed area between the two carparks that are in front of the roller skating rink on Marine Parade. This will be open from 8.00am through to 10.00am for swimmers to collect their swim caps and receive their race numbers.

If you are using Google Maps to find us you can use either PrimePort Timaru or Timaru Yacht Club as your destination.  We are on the left hand side of the road on Marine Parade between these two points.

Evans Bay Start

Shuttle vans will be running from the carpark area beside the registration tent to take swimmers around to the Evans Bay start area for those swimmers entered in the 2.5km and 1.5km events.  The vans will leave at 10 minute intervals from 9.30am through to 10.15am. You should take only what you need for your swim with you in the van as there will be limited space.

If you do end up having something that needs to be transferred back to Caroline Bay please leave it with the van driver & it will be dropped back to the registration tent for you to collect.  This service will be provided on an "all care and no responsibility" basis.

Alternatively you can take your own vehicle around to Evans Bay. A map & directions will be available at the registration tent should you wish to do this.

Prize Giving

This will be held in the grassed area beside the registration tent as soon as practical (generally approx 30min) after the last swimmer has exited the water & the final race results have been collated.
