5.0km Ocean Swim 

The 5.0km swim starts on the beach at Caroline Bay with swimmers heading straight out past the yacht club to the open water beyond.  They will then turn right swimming along the face of the breakwater then right again to head into the inner harbour.  Coming back out of the harbour swimmers will round a buoy off Evans Bay then take on the long 1.5km swim back across the face of the breakwater & across to the Benvenue Cliffs.  A left turn around a final buoy below the cliffs & they'll be on the home straight swimming diagonally across Caroline Bay to the start/finish line on the beach.

The compulsory swimmer briefing will take place at 8.50am in the race start area at Caroline Bay.  The race will commence at 9.00am.

2.5km Ocean Swim

The 2.5km swim starts on the beach at Evans Bay.  Swimmers will head into the inner harbour before swimming back out to the open ocean, along the front of the breakwater, round into the calmer waters of Caroline Bay and up to the finish line on the beach.

The compulsory swimmer briefing will take place at 10.20am in the race start area at Evans Bay.  The race will commence at 10.30am in conjunction with the 1.5km event.

1.5km Ocean Swim

The 1.5km swim starts on the beach at Evans Bay.  Swimmers will head straight across the face of the harbour entrance, along the front of the breakwater, round into the calmer waters of Caroline Bay and up to the finish line on the beach.

The compulsory swimmer briefing will take place at 10.20am in the race start area at Evans Bay.  The race will commence at 10.30am in conjunction with the 2.5km event.

500m Ocean Swim

The 500m swim will start on the beach at Caroline Bay.  Swimmers will complete a short triangular course inside the Bay that starts & finishes on the beach that will give them a taste of the challenges and fun of open water swimming.

The compulsory swimmer briefing will take place at 9.20am in the race start area at Caroline Bay.  The race will commence at 9.30am.
