About Our Club
Trojans Football Club was founded in the early 1960’s , with the late Jimmy Lang being the founding member. The club had always been known for being friendly and welcoming. We try very hard to keep this culture alive today.
Trojans currently maintains a strong junior membership and this has been the case for the past few seasons. We are currently the largest Senior club in Marlborough with 4 senior men’s and a women’s team. In the past we have had 2 All Whites play for the club, Cameron Howieson and Peter Simsonsen.
Over the years, Trojans has had a strong showing in the Marlborough first division and KO cup competitions winning these tournaments in the 1980’s, 1990’s, 2010’s and 2020’s. Currently in 2024, we are the KO cup champion, and runner up’s in the first division two years running.
Our Second division teams, Spartans and Reds always are also competitive with a social outlook.
Please come and try our club. We’d like to think it’s the most welcoming and inclusive club in Marlborough. A team to fit all players.
