Its been long awaited to see these Green and Gold colours reappear on the league field after so many years off. Well this 2025 mens league season around the corner with new management and coaching staff will see this club back out there on the field .

Earlier years founded by Dan Rangi with a few name changes over the years then established as Turanga Panthers Rugby League then passed down the generations to keep the club going now revamped as

A few of the heartiest Staunchest players to this club have fallen May their souls rest in Peace, they will be walking right beside us on that field we carry them in our hearts.

Turanga Panthers NBC Gisborne Inc

Established 2024 Debut- 2025

From playing with a club for 3 seasons to refounding a netball club the next .Many moons ago there was a Turanga Panthers netball team in the past .So I felt it was only right to get our own whanau colours out  there on the courts , so that i did with help from my solid team mates who are now my forever whanau we got to work. We sorted uniforms slowly only thinking of 1 team to start with then it started becoming a nightmare in a good way when more and more people wanted to play for the club lol.

We now have 2 teams 

Turanga Panthers Green (Social Grade)

Turanga Panthers Gold ( A Reserve )

We Also may have a masters team Next year -

Over 35s Only lmao!!

From what was meant to be 1 team turned in to 2 is now slowly turning into 3 & i love that for us .

We are all about the whakawhanaungatanga in our club we love meeting new whanau and we welcome one and all.
