2025 Short Slalom Showdown

On Sunday, the 21st of December 2025, the Short Slalom Showdown was held on the Mangahao Whitewater course.

This was an epic first-of-its-kind competition in New Zealand, hosted by the University of Waikato Canoe/Kayak Club for those attending the 3-day Mangahao training camp. 

Thanks to the volunteers for helping with timing and judging. Likewise, thank you to OSM for supplying prizes for the top 3 athletes of each discipline. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
