Vision Hockey New Zealand spent three days in Waihi with Waihi Miners Inline Hockey Club on Coach and Player Development, Friday evening was spent with 12 Coaches from the Miners learning new coaching programmes and stategies to encourage development at all levels in the Miners Club.

Saturday - Day 2 began with junior development teaching the kids new techniques. Followed by Intermediate sessions begining with strength and conditioning and a skills session. Senior session was intensified with the addition of a power and performance session.

Sunday - Day 3 was dedicated to circuit training at all levels and followed with some strategic games to finish. Team Vision was joined by Auckland based Goalie Coach Maia Rata. 

The experience of joining Waihi was perfect. great facility, Great little town and the people are amazing. Waihi Miners are the pinnacle of rural New Zealand Inline Hockey. We can not wait to come back.
