WaiBOP Football Futsal and Junior Competitions Coordinator

This is a full time role based in our Te Rapa office in Hamilton. Our staff work on a hybrid model, with three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), and 2 days working from home, with some flexibility in working hours.

You will take ownership of futsal competitions and lead the administration of junior competitions across Taupō, North King Country, Putāruru and Rotorua.

You will report to the Competitions Manager and work closely with the Futsal Development Manager, the junior Competitions Co-ordinator, Referee Co-ordinators, clubs, schools, venue managers, referees and volunteers across the region.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate venue bookings and manage team registrations and entries for futsal competitions
  • Prepare, publish and manage competition draws and schedules
  • Lead the day to day administration and delivery of junior football competitions in Taupō, North King Country, Putāruru and Rotorua
  • Coordinate equipment requirements and keep inventory records up to date
  • Process minor International Transfer Certificates
  • Maintain accurate competition records
  • Keep competition information current on federation systems and websites
  • Work directly with clubs, venue managers and referees to sort issues as they arise

What You Will Bring

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills are essential
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • A confident communicator, comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and online competition management systems (experience with Sporty an advantage)
  • Knowledge of football or futsal competition structures (an advantage)
  • Experience in sports administration or event management (an advantage)
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach

General Manager - Cambridge Football Club

Cambridge Football Club is looking for a General Manager to lead the club's day to day operations. The role covers sponsorship and revenue growth, volunteer support, football administration, and match day logistics. Based in Cambridge, part time on a 12 month fixed term contract, reporting to the Club President.

Cambridge FC is one of the Waikato's largest community football clubs, serving hundreds of players, families, and volunteers each season. Governance, policy, and strategy are already in place, so the General Manager steps into a solid platform and builds from there.

Candidates need strong organisational and communication skills, with commercial awareness to spot growth opportunities. Sports management or sponsorship experience is a plus, but not essential.

Club Operations Manager — Pāpāmoa Football Club

Pāpāmoa Football Club is looking for a Club Operations Manager to lead the club's day-to-day running. The role covers football strategy, volunteer support, fixtures and facilities, and community partnerships. It's based at Gordon Spratt Reserve, full-time or contract, reporting to the Club Board.

Pāpāmoa FC are after someone organised, personable, and comfortable working across a busy sports environment. Sports management or football experience is a plus, but not essential.

Director of Football — Ōtūmoetai Football Club

Ōtūmoetai Football Club is looking for a Director of Football to lead its coaching and player development programmes. Based at Fergusson Park, the role oversees the club's full football pathway, from junior skill centres through to senior and Wāhine football.

The club is the largest in the Bay of Plenty, with over 1200 winter members. The Director of Football will shape coaching standards, mentor staff, and build on the club's community focus.

Candidates need a B-Licence coaching qualification or above, senior coaching or management experience, and a willingness to relocate to Tauranga.
