CLUB BACKGROUND

Waiheke Island Rugby Club was founded to support both Junior and Senior rugby on Waiheke Island.  Over the years the club has grown steadily and has a sound Junior Club membership that is well supported by some key sponsors.

CLUB FUTURE

The Waiheke RFC are looking to build on the solid junior and high school base that has provided a hospitable and friendly rugby environment within the club and to visit teams over the past years.
To achieve this Waiheke RFC will continue to improve management and operational processes and deploy necessary frameworks, policies, guidelines and codes that will underpin the key vision, mission and objectives.  In achieveing the clubs objectives consideration will always be given to key risks and any changing governmental, local and regulatory requirements.
