Fun Footbal (ages 8 and 9) Runs on a Saturday. We have allocated teams this season, including our second girls only team, but we currently have a waitlist. If you would like to place your child's name on the waitlist, please contact Juniorsecretary@waihekeunited.org.nz
Parents of the players run the squad, coach, and manage each team. We have also been allowed to occasionally play at Buckland's Beach in a U8/9 hub. What a great experience for our young players.
At Waiheke United AFC, the safety and wellbeing of our tamariki is our priority. Once a child’s training or Skills Centre session has finished, responsibility for their supervision no longer rests with their coach or manager. If you intend to leave your child at the Sports Park after their session, please ensure that another responsible adult aged 15 or over is present and has actively agreed to supervise them. While we are fortunate to live in a close-knit community where our children can enjoy a sense of freedom, accidents can happen at any time. We ask all parents and caregivers to take this responsibility seriously so we can minimise risks and help keep all our tamariki safe. Thank you for your understanding and support in looking after our football community.
