Open Grade - Div 1 and Div 2
Colts - 19-21 years old
Change to School Years
Due to the NZR directive for changing to school years from what has been happening in previous seasons, the new outline for junior through to teenage grades will be the following:
U18: (Boys in Year 12 born after 1st April till boys in Year 13 at school)
U16: Intermediate Boys (boys in Year 10 born after 1st October till boys in Y12 born on or before 31 March)
U14.5: Junior Boys (boys in Year 9 born after 1st April till boys in Year 10 born on or before 30 September)
U13: Year 8
U12: Year 7
NON-COMPETITION
U11: Year 6
U10: Year 5
U9: Year 4
U8: Year 3
U7: Year 2
U6: Year 1
* Boys who have left school will be sorted into the grades that corresponds with what year group they would have been in if they were to still be at school.
* Dispensations will still be available for those that need them to align with skill/development level of the player.
