South Island Junior Invitational Futsal Tournament

With a flood of enquiries regarding our South Island Primary School Futsal Tournament, we have decided we want to give as many Primary School aged children (Years 5/6 & 7/8) the opportunity to participate in this Tournament.

Waimak United Football Club will be now offer this to a wider range of players, to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to attend, which is what the Tournament is for. We will now be running the Inaugural South Island Junior Invitational Futsal Tournament. 

We want to offer as many Primary School aged children the opportunity to play Futsal, and this will allow more players to be involved!

These teams can be Club Teams, School Teams, or a group of keen friends.  It’s all about having fun, while learning new skills, making new friends and being part of this rapidly growing sport.  Get your team together and register now.

We are well and truly underway with preparations, and its time now for Schools, Clubs or Friends to enter a team!

If you have already Registered your interest, and would like to withdraw because of our changes, that is absolutely no problem at all, but we hope you understand why we have made the changes.  Please email gm@waimakunited.org.nz and let us know.

Grade Options:                      Year 5/6 & Year 7/8

Registrations Close:             3rd March 2023

Tournament Details

• Games will be run between 8am – 7pm each day (dependent on team entries)
• Four courts will be running each session (dependent on team entries)
• Both grades will be limited to 12 Teams and spots are filling fast.
• Teams can have up to 10 players registered for the Tournament.
• All Teams will have 8 games over the 4 days of Tournament – Pool Play, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals.
• Once the Grades are full, we will run a Waitlist.  We will advise as soon as possible if a place becomes available.
• Team Entry Fee is $650.00 + GST.  An Invoice will be sent out to all registered Team/School/Club Contacts.
