U9 FESTIVAL 2026
Waimak United Football Club – U9 Festival
The Waimak United FC U9 Festival is a fantastic opportunity for young players to participate in a friendly and fun-filled football competition. For many, it will be their first experience in a tournament environment.
The festival will be hosted over two days at the beginning of the Term 3 school holidays (26th & 27th Sep) and will feature two competitive tiers, as well as a girls only grade, ensuring teams of all skill levels can enjoy the experience.
PLAYER AGES - UPDATED 28/07/25
Players must be turning 8 or 9 in 2026. If players turn 10 in October, November, or December 2025, they will need an age dispensation, and proof of age will be required.
We understand this may be disappointing for some teams. If you would like to request a dispensation, please don’t hesitate to contact us at dof@waimakunited.org.nz.

Dispensations requests will be considered, and decisions given to the Club/Team asap.
Guest Players must meet the age requirements without any dispensation.
