Junior football: Year 0- Year 11
Playing junior soccer in an inclusive environment allows every child to build a genuine sense of belonging, which directly strengthens their self-esteem and emotional well-being. By prioritising participation over performance, our programs teach young athletes to value diversity and cooperate with peers from all backgrounds, fostering essential life skills like empathy and mutual respect whilst staying active and fit.
What's new in 2026:
This year the management of teams has been moved from a school based model to a club based model. This is new for our region though all other regions follow this model.
You will need to purchase a Wainui SC football shirt to play this year. This is now available!

We will only enter teams in grades where we have sufficient numbers and may combine grades if needed.
Wainui SC strongly supports girls’ football and we aim to enter girls-only teams in girls-only leagues wherever possible, including mixed leagues when appropriate. We believe success is not about the score, but about every touch on the field being made by a girl.
