  • We have volunteers who aren't horsey people, at all and become a side walker.

  • If you have horse experience then become a pony handler.

  • We only have one rally a week on Thursdays, and ride only during school terms.

  • We have 3 sessions in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, so a packed busy day.

  • Tacking up ponies start at 9.30ish and generally the ponies are put away into their paddock just after 3pm.

  • We have volunteers who may just do the morning, others who just do the afternoon, some do the whole day, and some who do an hour or two.

Can you spare an hour or more on a Thursday?

We need more volunteers!

You could be a sidewalker who helps and interacts with the child under the coaches guidance.

Or perhaps if you have horse experience, become a handler, who leads the ponies, changes tack between rides and general help look after the ponies.
If you can spare some time,
we would love to see you!

Just pop down to the RDA grounds, Johnstone street, Masterton (behind the soccer ground) on a Thursday (between 10am and 2.50pm),
Come as see what we do.
See you there!
