Holiday programs are for school aged children, usually between the ages of 9 and 14. Other ages possible by prior approval please.
Holiday programs sit somewhere between learning to sail and a kids club. The emphasis is on fun and adventure! Often these programs will involve trips to Ruby Island. Please drop your child off at 9am and collect at 4pm. Bring a packed lunch, sunscreen, ideally a wetsuit, change of clothes, towel, hat, windproof top and a sense of fun. We provide life jackets and helmets.
This season coach Izzie will be in charge, always assisted by competent experienced youth sailors. Max group size is 6.
Other dates and bespoke courses or programs of any duration can be arranged for small groups subject to availability of Izzie. Please contact learn@wanakayachtclub.co.nz
