Wanderers Cricket Club was formed in 1983 and the club has become a hub for community sports and events. Playing at the Brightwater Domain, Wanderers are now an established cricket club in Nelson, boasting a membership of over 125 senior and junior members.

The club currently has a Senior Mens side and a Senior Second Grade side, as well as two intermediate and four primary sides. Our junior section continues to grow and we anticipate a further increase in the number of junior sides we have through our close work with local schools.​​​​​​​

Our current squad includes four Nelson Griffin Representatives, our captain Joseph O'Connor, Tom Cross, Adam Leonard and Hayden Ingham.
