Softball

Welcome to Wellington College Softball.

Softball is a club based option at WC but we always look to put a team together to play in the CSW Senior and Junior Champs held at Fraser Park, Hutt Valley, in Term 1 and Term 4 respectively.

Trials will be held in February for the Senior Softball Team. Trails are likely to be in the 3rd week of Term 1 and the trial date will depend on the number of registrations and the expressions of interest we've received.

Year 9s and 10s are welcome to trial for the senior team if they have played softball before but less confident Juniors are encouraged to wait until Term 4 and focus on making the Junior Team.

To register your interest in playing softball for Wellington College please fill in the registration form opposite. All students are welcome. You do not need to have played softball before in order to trial.

REGISTRATION: No registration fee but there will be some tournament associated costs for transport etc

FORMAT: Softball is a club based sport and students are encouraged register with a local club if they are looking for a weekly competition. However each year Wellington College enters a school team into the CSW Senior and Junior Regional Tournaments.

TRIAL DATES: TBC but likely to be... Seniors - Week 2/3, Term 1 | Juniors - Week 2/3, Term 4

START DATE: Seniors - Week 3, Term 1 | Juniors - Week 3, Term 4

TOURNAMENTS: CSW Senior Tournament - 23 February at Fraser Park

CSW Junior Tournament - 15 November at Fraser Park
