Wellington College Canoe Polo

Canoe Polo is a cross between basketball and soccer only in boats.

Up to 8 in a team 5 on the pitch and 3 subs although the subs are rolling so you are never sitting in sub for long.

The object of the game is to get the ball into the opposition's goal which is suspended 2 metres above the water. Once you get confident you will find it a fast and fun game.  The game is made up of 2 x 10 minute halves.

This year Coll teams will work towards attending the Central Region Development Camp  19/20 July and entering into the Solstice Tournament 20/21 September.  Both of these events are held at Naenae.

To get ready for these events training and games are held on a Monday night at Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre Learn to Play and C grade games are between 7pm and 8.30pm.
