WE WANT THE CORRY BLOCK TAKEN OFF THE MARKET so it can be used for the recreational and economic benefit of Wellsford. 1.    Ideally located between Centennial Park and Wellsford Golf Club it can easily link to other pre existing activities which may also benefit.
2.    Because SH1 dissects Wellsford it is unsafe for families to cycle/walk for their health and wellbeing in town.
3.    The size and hilly topography provide variation and interest to walkers and cyclists.
4.    Developing this land will provide an attractive place for travellers to stop for a break and provide economic benefits for the town.
5.    Because this green space is more valuable to Wellsford than any of the projects underway by Auckland Council for which the sale might fund.
