This is a three day event open to all registered athletes 7-14 years. It is a great chance to participate in a large, well organised competion and experience a "BIG" track meet.


Whangarei Ribbon Day
for 7-14 year olds 
Ribbon Days are a chance to compete, have fun and collect some ribbons. Ribbons in all age groups are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in each field or race event, there are no semifinals, all races are treated like finals.

This is a three day event open to all registered athletes 7-14 years. 12 & 13 year olds Interprovincials,
A national event where regional teams compete against each other. Points are awarded to athelets in each event which go towards their team total. Athletic clubs forward results for the season, in our case to Athletics North who select a team. If selected the athlete receives a letter stating in which events they have been selected to represent Athletic North. The competition requieres all athletes to participate in four events. The four events cannot be all track or all field. Past club members attenting have had a great time.

Kensington Park TBC
This is a meet to find Northlands "Champions" in each event for each age group, 7 years and up. Open to all registered athletes 7 years up. It's a fun family day. The atmosphere is as relaxed as on Ribbon Days.
