Congratulations to the team from Tahuna Golf Club for winning the 2023 Waikato District National Teams Championship that was held at Cambridge Golf Club on Friday, May 5th. The pairs/team event was well received with 14 Waikato clubs partipating this year and over 136 players from over the region entering to be 1 of the 4 players to prepresent their club. Our 2nd place team with the home course advance was Cambridge and 3rd place from Ngahinepouri, our last years winning team.
Many thanks to Pauline, Jackie and Cambridge General Manager Rory Moor for making this event so successful! Thanks to the greens staff for providing a wonderful course for the ladies. A special thanks to Gaylene Bunn, our WGA Women's Vice President and all the hard work she does!
