2026 – 2027 Whakatāne Touch Association (WTA) Team Registrations

Hope all is how it should be in our current situation/s.  Touch is nearly upon us…

Therefore, here’s some key info as we anticipate starting on time.

 

Registration Night/s for all teams at Little John Pavilion, Rugby Park, Whakatāne.

6pm-7pm, Tuesday 15th September 2026
or
5pm-7pm, Thursday 17th September 2026,

or fill in the form correctly and email Morgan.

 

All Teams must deposit a non-refundable fee of $50 via Sporty site or into the WTA bank account on/by Registration night/s.

No money (cash payment) will be accepted by WTA on Registration Night.

Junior Module (Wednesdays), (Nellie Hape – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Wednesday 14th October 2026.

$100 per Team.  

Due date for full payment is Friday 30th October 2026.

No pay, no play, no exceptions!!

 

Secondary School Module (Thursdays), (Alexis Hape – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Thursday 15th October 2026

$100 per Team entry.  

Due date for full payment is Friday 30th October 2026.

Senior Mixed Module (Mondays), (Christopher Kilgarriff – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Monday 5th October 2026.   

$390 per Team for the 'Early Bird' option.

Full payment for this option is due by Monday 12th October 2026.

OR

$440 per Team if you missed the 'Early Bird' due date.

Due date for full payment is Friday 30th October 2026.

No pay, no play, no exceptions!!  

 

Business House Mixed (Mondays), (Christopher Kilgarriff – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Monday 5th October 2026.   

$390 per Team for the 'Early Bird' option.

Full payment for this option is due by Monday 12th October 2026.

All Junior Teams and Secondary School Teams must provide their own referees each game day/night.

All Senior Teams must register 2 referees per team (and must not be our WTA referees either).
 

Key information:

• Junior Finals: 9 December 2026

• Secondary Finals: TBC

• Mixed Finals: 18th February 2027

• Opens Finals: 2Oth February 2027

The last week of touch for this year will be 17th December, with play resuming on 11th January 2027.
