2025 – 2026 Whakatāne Touch Association (WTA) Team Registrations

Hope all is how it should be in our current situation/s.  Touch is nearly upon us…

Therefore, here’s some key info as we anticipate starting on time.

Registration Night/s for all teams at Little John Pavilion, Rugby Park, Whakatāne.

5pm-7pm, Tuesday 16th September 2025 
or
5pm-7pm, Thursday 18th September 2025,

or fill in the form correctly and email Morgan.

All Teams must deposit a non-refundable fee of $50 via Sporty site or into the WTA bank account on/by Registration night/s.

No money (cash payment) will be accepted by WTA on Registration Night.

Junior Module (Wednesdays), (Nellie Hape – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Week of Monday 6th October 2025.

$100 per Team.  

Due date for full payment is Friday 31st October 2025.

Secondary School Module (Thursdays), (Alexis Hape – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Week of Monday 6th October 2025

$100 per Team entry.  

Due date for full payment is Friday 31st October 2025.

Senior Mixed Module (Mondays), (Missy Hohapata – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Monday 6th October 2025.   

$390 per Team for the 'Early Bird' option.

Full payment for this option is due by Monday 13th October 2025.

OR

$440 per Team if you missed the 'Early Bird' due date.

Due date for full payment is Friday 31st October 2025.

No pay, no play, no exceptions!!  

Business House Mixed (Mondays), (Missy Hohapata – Module Coordinator)

Start Date - Monday 6th October 2025.   

$390 per Team for the 'Early Bird' option.

Full payment for this option is due by Monday 13th October 2025.

$390 per Team for the 'Early Bird' option.

All Junior Teams and Secondary School Teams must provide their own referees each game day/night.

All Senior Teams must register 2 referees per team (and must not be our WTA referees either).
 

Key information:

• Junior Finals: 26 November 2025

• Secondary Finals: 27 November 2025

• Mixed Finals: 19th February 2026

• Opens Finals: 21st February 2026

The last week of touch for this year will be 8 December, with play resuming on 12 January 2026.
