Umpire registrations will open shortly for 2024. 

For any year 7 & 8 players that would like to give umpiring a go.

Being a FutureFERN umpire is a great experience. Players who have tried this in previous years enjoyed the challenge and experience it gave them.

FutureFERN umpires work in teams of two umpiring the year 5 & 6 six-a-side games every Saturday at 9am and 10:15am.

You are provided with t-shirts, whistles, weekly training and support on the court sideline.

Registration (click on the button on the right) is directly with Nelson Netball. While Mapua & Districts Netball Club encourages any of our players that are interested to give this a go, it is Nelson Netball that leads this directly and all communication should be done directly with them.
