2019 National Club Champs

The 2019 MTF Nelson Honey Badgers had an outstanding tournament posting a tournament high 170 points going undefeated all the way to big dance.

After convincing wins against most other clubs all weekend. The Badgers had a scare, narrowly beating new comers the Hawks Bay Heat, by 1 point to take top spot after round robin play.

After easily making the final, The Honey Badgers had to once again come up against The Heat, Who were also having a great tournament in their own right. Both offenses were firing on all cylinders. But Some great play by the Heat saw them come up victorious after a defensive stand holding the Badgers out from the perfect tournament and another national title.
