LETS PLAY BALL!

Have you ever watched USA baseball, Women's Olympic Softball or New Zealands Champion Black Sox and White Sox on TV?

Did you play softball or rounders at school and enjoyed it?

Are you looking for a fun, family orientated, social or competitive Saturday sport?

Then Softball or Baseball is the game for you!

No matter what age, fitness or skill level you are, we have the grade to suit. We have heaps of fun playing the game and enjoy the "Softball Community" we socialise with.

We offer Junior Tee-Ball, Softball and U14 Baseball, as well as Senior Fastpitch and Slowpitch Softball. Tauranga Baseball Club is part of our Association and we hope to offer Senior Baseball soon.

WBOP Junior Season

Junior Softball season will start again in Term 4, 2026 (October 30th-Halloween Saturday) with U8 T-Ball 9am. U11 Diamond Ball 10am and U14 Softball/Baseball 11am.

If your school does not have a team, come down to   Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai on Saturdays, 15 mins before game time and we will find a team for you.

Only $20.00 per player FEES FOR 2026!

We are holding one “Have a Go” day at 10am-12pm on  Sunday 17th and 24th October, 2026 at Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai.

New players can come and give Softball a go and find out more about our season.

WBOP Senior Season

Senior Fastpitch Softball season started again on October 10th, 2026 with some awesome games played at Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai.

We currently have Eleven Senior Women's teams and Six Senior Men's teams. (14yrs+) and teams come from Tauranga, Rotorua and Whakatane.

We also have Social Slowpitch on a Monday nights for the casual or new players.

WBOP Slowpitch Season

 Slowpitch Softball is played on Monday nights and started up again on 19th October 2026 - 6pm, Carlton Reserve, Otumoetai.

Slowpitch is ideal for new players or those that wish to play a more relaxed game of Softball. Played in mixed teams, including at least four females, the ball is lobbed slowly to the batter for higher chance of a hit.

Get a team of family, friends or work collegues together and enter now.

 If you don't have a team, turn up at 5.45pm on the Monday night and we will put you in a team.
