REPRESENTATIVE NETBALL

The Centre seeks interest from players to compete in the annual representative circuit from age grades Yr 8 through to U19s. The players measure themselves against other netball centres which means forming teams with the best players, coaches, managers and umpires within the centre and travelling from within or outside the Waikato Region. Eastern Waikato are extremely competitive as this level of netball expects the best.  However, Eastern Waikato's philopshy embraces all enthusiastic people who are keen for development.


The representative circuit is generally played on Sundays through the months of May to August - excluding National & Regional tournaments which are played during the July school holidays. Representative Netball does come at a cost, however Eastern Waikato have a number of iniatives that allow a portion of players fees to be subsidised.

Expression of Interest and trials are held between March & May annually. 

*Yr8 grade will no longer be in the circuit in 2020.

Coaches/Managers
Selection is undertaken through an Expression of Interest done online via our Facebook page. Close date is 30 March each year followed by interviews.
