FEATHERSTON CUP 2019

Featherston Cricket is back in the crease and ready to play again! To kick it off we would like to invite you to enter your team in our inaugural 3 day cricket tournament - a T15 NIVEA Ball Cricket Tournament with great cash prizes to be won.

We will have teams from both Wellington and Wairarapa. Maximum of 6 teams - teams are accepted to the tournament on a first come first serve basis.

The matches will be held at the Featherston Cricket Ground, Underhill Road on 28 & 29 September and 6 October. 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Match timings and fixture formats are attached on the right. 

The tournament will be in “T15” format and each team will be playing TWO matches in the league stage.  A new ball will be given per innings. The balls we use are NIVEA Balls  - they are heavier than tennis balls and feel like a leather ball while batting and bowling.  (Attached are photos of the ball and details for reference)

KIT

Whites or coloured clothing is allowed. (No red or pink as it will clash with the colour of the ball)

CANCELLATION

In the event of the finals being abandoned – the Cup will be shared between the top two qualifiers and prize options halved.
