​​​​​​​For swimmers to gain qualifying times, clubs and regions must provide a 'full deck' of officials.

Each club is expected, by Swimming Manawatū, to help by providing officials at meets within our region.

At the beginning of each season, Swimming Manawatū draw up an Officials and Duty Club Roster, which sets out and designates officials and club duties for the season.

Once a swimmer has become a competitive swimmer, Swimming Manawatū ​​​​​​​expectations are that one parent/caregiver becomes a timekeeper. Then become an IOT (Inspector of Turns) or other Technical Official.
