SENIOR 1 CHAMPIONS

Manawatū Rugby's Senior 1 men's competition has a proud history going back almost 140 years.

Since 1896, the winners of the Senior 1  grade have been awarded the J.H. Hankins Sheild, commonly known as the Hankins Sheild or "The Hank". Since 1980, the Hankins Sheild winner has been determined by a grand final match.
