COACHING INFORMATION
In 2023/2024 20 weeks of professional coaching is provided during the season for all our members on Thursday afternoons and evenings (Sept 2023-April 2024). All ages and abilities are catered for at the following times.
- 3:30pm - 4:30pm: 5 to 6 years old
- 4:30pm - 5:30pm: 7 to 8 years old
- 5:30pm - 6:30pm: 9 to 13 years old
- 6:30pm - 7:30pm: 14 to 18 years old and Junior Interclub (11 years and older)
- 7:30pm - 8:30pm: Over 18 years
Coaching begins for 2023 on Thursday 14th September for 20 Weeks (ie 20 Lessons)
We have Ace Sports an experienced coaching crew joining us again for this season.
The Ace Sports team are very excited to be part of Maraetai Tennis Club and look forward to meeting everyone. (See pictures to the right)
Coaching services include:
• Junior and Adult group coaching (Thursdays)
• Midweek coaching
• Interclub team training (Wednesday nights)
• Private lessons (Contact Acesports)
• Wilson Tennis Academy pathway (Contact Marcel Head Coach)
• Tennis racquet consultations ( Talk to coaches at Thursday Coaching sessions)

As well as running coaching programmes, Ace Sports have two retail Pro Shops (Cockle Bay Tennis Club and Manukau Tennis Centre). They stock all major tennis brands - Wilson, Head, Babolat, Prince and they have a wide range of racquets, footwear, accessories, bags and a professional restringing service.
