Games Administrator

This role presents a prime opportunity for a talented individual with superior communication, relationship management and organisational skills to champion the delivery of Netball Waitākere competitions and join a dynamic team.

The Games Administrator role covers the preparation, administration, and implementation of competitions & tournaments delivered by Netball Waitākere. Including assisting with the delivery of netball development programmes to our junior leagues and primary schools.

The successful candidate will preferably have proven experience and skills in the following areas; however, a full training and induction programme will be implemented; 

  • Technical knowledge of netball, including competition draws and other elements associated with competition management.
  • A high standard of computer knowledge and literacy in Microsoft Office 
  • A high standard of written and spoken English
  • Highly effective communication skills
  • Ability to relate to diverse groups, the general public and volunteers
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
  • Implementation of processes and procedures and an understanding of implementation of regulations pertaining to sports

An integral aspect of this role is the requirement for some work outside of normal business hours and days.
