Welcome to the 2022/2023 season.  Whether you are a returning player, or have just joined our club, we wish you an enjoyable season with Newlands.

This season we have the following grades :

​REGISTRATION DATES
Registrations are now open online - please see the home page for the link. We can register up until the end of the season so if you are looking to come along and play you have from August through to March. We welcome all ages and abilities to the club , even if you have never played before. We have fantasitc coaches who can teach you all that you need to know. 

JUNIOR FEES
Subscription fees for the season for the juniors are 

U7 Player  - $40.00
Single Player - $50.00
Two players - $80.00*
Three players or more - $100.00*
*Conditions Apply ‐ Players must come from the same family and be siblings and reside at the same address.

Subscription fees are due no later than 1 December 2022, and can be paid at registration, or direct into the clubs account:

SEASON DATES
This season will commence on the 29th October 2022 and conitune through until 17th December 2022 where we break over the Christmas and New Years for representative softball and for everyone to enjoy the holiday season.
Games after Christmas, restart on 28th January 2023 through to the 18th March  2023. To note, we do play Waitangi weekend on the Saturday. 

Just a note due to the Men's World Cup being hosted on home soil this November/December in Auckland. There will be one Saturday - 3rd of December where there will be no games as hopefully you'll all be there watching our Men win another World Cup. 

COMMUNICATIONS
Our Weekly Game fixtures and club communication and notices are emailed to Managers every week on Tuesday/Wednesday for the Team Management to pass on to their team. All club events/ promtions/ fundrasiers and important infomration will be posted on our Facebook Page. Like our page to keep up to date with all our club events.

CLUB ROOMS
Each Saturday, all teams are  encouraged to return to the clubrooms after their games for the player of the days awards, club  announcements, sausage sizzle and free tea &  coffee for parents.

It’s a great way to start your weekend and socialise with other families – all finished up by  11am. We'd love to have all the support we can from our families so please get behind the club and come back and support us for our annoucements. It's also such a joy seeing your kids and your/their teams mates getting their player of the day awards. 

EVENTS 
  • Junior Club Day - Friday 14th October - Johnsonville Rugby Club - this is a chance to get to know your team, collect your uniform and meet your coach.
 
  • Junior Family Club Night - 5th November - Johnsonville Rugby Club - more information to follow
