The club started with 12 members, growing to 17, as recorded in the 14 January newsletter. By early February 1990 the club membership was at 38. This was good progress and a reflection of the efforts of the committee at the time and involvement of the club with Masters swimming events, not only in Auckland but around the country as well.

Membership number held steady around 32-40 from 1990 to early 2003. From this time membership declined to sit around 20-22 financial members. Today the club has 10 members, with the club is again looking at ways to boost membership. A challenge for all clubs really, as they compete for people involved with a variety of sports.

It was interesting to note from the membership records the husband and wife members over the years such as Ian and Vivienne Cliffe, Monique Rodahl-Williams and John Williams, Michelle and Darryl Follows, Barry and Suzanne Levesque, Jon and Kay Wain plus Julian & Raewyn Reynolds.
