Northland Rugby is proudly launching Play of the Week, brought to you by Grassroots Trust and Tyrepower.
Play of the week is a chance for clubs and schools to put a spotlight on their players - submitting their best plays, tackles and tries from games with a chance to WIN Play of the Week throughout club rugby season.
Submit your jaw-dropping plays, tackles and tries every week for a shot at amazing prizes! From year 0 to senior rugby, everyone's invited to join in on the action.
Remember, it's all about the game-winning moments captured on the field (no training footage please). So get those cameras rolling and show us what you've got.
All winners of Play of the Week will be in the running for Play of The Year at the end of rugby season. Play of the Year will be voted by our Northland public.
1. Play of the week is open to all clubs and all grades - from year 0 to senior.
2. Video footage must be from games, not from trainings.
3. All video clips must be 30 seconds or less in length.
4. All submissions must be submitted via the Play of the Week form (below) by 10am, Tuesday each week.
5. Clips must be from the previous week’s games.
6. Winning player will receive a prize each week.
7. All winners will be eligible for Northland Rugby ‘Play of the Year’ to be voted by the public at the end of rugby season.
Weekly winners will be announced every Wednesday.
