Merehuia Young Stock Club is a fun filled community event and we believe a very unique day for all.
The day has a real carnival atmosphere with something for everyone. There is a big focus on family on this day with students from Piopio College, Kohanga Reo and Playcentre eagerly showing off their pets.
From horses to rabbits, pets are groomed and brought onto the school grounds for a fun packed day.
Along with the animals, flowers, art and craft, and spectacular baking and decorating are up for judging and display.
A lot of effort is put into this day from all of the students.
Children are always excited about getting to the classes to see how all of their creations have been judged and to show their parents the 'very cool' creations.
