Wellington Rowing Association

The Wellington Rowing Association (WRA) is one of the 10 member associations comprising the New Zealand Rowing Association (trading as Rowing New Zealand) and shares the common purpose of fostering and promoting the sport of rowing. 

The WRA organise and run local rowing regattas in the Wellington Region and will call upon WCRC to provide volunteers for officiating duties at regattas.

What the WRA does:

•     Conduct regattas in the Wellington region
•     Provide coach development
•     Provide officials development
•     Secure funding
•     Support the Wellington region's rowing clubs
•     Promote the sport in district
